At NYC’s SPiN; located ion 23rd between Park Ave. and Madison. Doubling as a ping-pong paradise and a social club (i.e. hang out with your friends and meet new friends). Grab a paddle, and your bucket of balls. Yes, I said bucket. This means that you don’t have to chase your ace down, you can just pick up the next ball and serve. There are even ball boys collecting the pongs – pinging and they will refill your bucket, no extra cost! If you’re pong skills have you stumped grab a snack, get a drink, or  watch a professional ping-pong match. Day or night (after 9.p.m 21+), 17 ping-pong courts, a full bar, restaurant, pro-shop and private VIP room (Do I hear birthday par-tayyy, craft time allocation for design your own paddle). Memberships are available along with private lessons from a pro.

Did I mention the whole cosmic bowling goes pong style. Yes, at some strategic time, the lighting dims, and the neon-athon is on. Balls, tables, and paddles are aglow.

I had almost forgotten that 1) ping-pong is fun 2) I know how to play 3) SPiN venue plays old school throwbacks and all around good jams.

All in all,  a good time.   Love, E
