Heel-Side took to the beat-driving vinyasa flow space of Y-7 Studios Broome Street location this past weekend. There has been a lot of talk around town about Y-7 Yoga Studios founded by Mason and Sarah Levey. This studio is redefining the stereotypical yoga practice ‘norm’- no mirrors, no candles. Activewear company Outdoor Voices partnered with Wallpaper*Handmade to design a family of five yoga-related objects made from natural materials. Using wood, cork, and felt they, with the help of New York-based Visibility, created the set, which includes: a resistance band, a wood yoga block, a triangular cork block, a wood roller, and a felt mat.
